Our engagement with the communities

TMG focuses on gender empowerment and the development of economic opportunities within the communities in which it operates, both in Guinea and Côte d’Ivoire. The group is implementing numerous initiatives to encourage economic development, environmental protection and social cohesion. With Agromine, Tigui Mining Group, focuses specifically on agriculture which remains the liveblood of the villagers. Additionally, the Group operates on a larger scale and integrates charity, financial support and training to meet its social and environmental imperatives.
In 2017, TMG has started an economic development project in the village of Guingouine in Côte d’Ivoire to improve the living conditions of the villagers and create shared value apart from the mining activities.
